Forgiveness
Forgiveness
By Wayne McDonald

Matthew 18:21-22 Then Peter came up to Him and said, Lord, how many times may my brother sin against me and I forgive him and let it go? [As many as] up to seven times? Vs 22 Jesus answered him, I tell you, not up to seven times, but seventy times seven.

At the very end of this chapter in Vs 35 Jesus said if you don’t forgive your brother, you will end up in prison. You will be tormented in your mind. Now here is what takes place, we say they have crossed over the line and I will not forgive them any more.

Then you will find yourself fighting with that person in your mind as you go to sleep. You will be warn out and tired because of all the emotional energy that you spend while that person could really care less. Some people have told me over the years, I thought I forgave that person. I have in my heart released them to the Lord, but I still feel all of this hate toward them.

When we forgive some body we need to do it by faith. Your feelings will at times be screaming something completely deferent. But we forgive in the Name of Jesus and in the person of Jesus. Our feelings will line up latter.

Father I forgive every one that has hurt me in any way. I chose to forgive them right now in the Name of Jesus!
