Turn your offender off
Turn your offender off
By Wayne McDonald

Matthew 11:6 Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) is he who takes no offense at Me and finds no cause for stumbling in or through Me and is not hindered from seeing the truth.

It is inevitable we are going to have opportunities every day to become offended at those around us. From family to coworkers to people driving crazy on the road.

There are many opportunities for offense. Several years ago I was driving on an interstate highway the speed limit was 65mph. As I was driving all of the sudden all most out of know where comes some person that all most smashed into my tail end. This individual must have been going at least 120 to 150mph they were passing cars swerving in and out of lanes.

My first response was to get all mad and offended and blow the horn. But then I heard in my heart if you only knew what that person was going through to drive like that, you would change your attitude. I am not justifying that persons crazy driving but I am saying there is all ways more to every situation then what we see on the surface.

They could have gotten a call that one of there children fell and was hurt or they could have had just been laid off of there job and the pressure was so much they could not handle it. So next time some one does something crazy keep that in mind and show some mercy and unconditional love and Turn your offender off.
