Knowing God's Will
Knowing God’s Will
Romans 12:1-2

Romans 12:2, “Do not be conformed to this world (this age), fashioned after and adapted to it’s external, superficial customs, but be transformed (changed) by the entire renewal of your mind by its new ideals and its new attitude, so that you may prove for yourselves what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect in His sight for you.”

Often I ask people, “What is God’s will for your life?” Many times they reply, “I don’t know!” Finding God’s will is not difficult but it does require some asking and seeking.

John 10:14, “I am the good shepherd; and I know and recognize My own, and My own know and recognize me.” If you have made Jesus the Lord of your life, you hear His voice.

Deception may try to tell you that you don’t hear His voice. Other people might try to tell you that you don’t hear Him, but if you will just quiet yourself and cast off every care and distraction, you will hear Him talking to you.

If you step out and miss it, just try again and say, “I missed it the last time”. Don’t spend your entire life saying you are just waiting on the Lord. There is timing in God and we need to be sensitive to His timing, but some times it’s easy to use, “I am waiting on God” as a good excuse because we are afraid to step out of our comfort zone.

I want to challenge you to step out of the boat and walk with Jesus. Get a hold of God, find out what He has for you and start fulfilling it. If you will step out the provision will come, the wisdom will come, and the people that are needed to fulfill that purpose will be there.
