Partnership

PARTNERSHIP
Mark 16:15
By Wayne McDonald

Mark 16:15 says, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Have you ever read that scripture and thought to yourself, “I must not be fulfilling the great commission. I don’t travel throughout the world and preach the gospel?”

All of us are called to reach people but not every person is called to be in full time ministry. Not every person is called to physically go out, but all of us are called to do our part. God has set up a system of partnership for that very purpose. When you partner with a ministry in prayer and financial support you are fulfilling the great commission.

In 1 Samuel chapter 30, King David and his army were in hot pursuit of the Amalekites. The Amalekites had burned down the army’s homes and kidnapped their wives and children. As David and his army chased the enemy, two hundred men fell faint and stayed behind to watch the army’s belongings.

David and the rest of the men continued and caught the Amalekites, destroyed them and took back all their possessions. On the way back, David stopped to see those who had stayed back to watch the army’s belongings. Immediately the men who had fought in the battle had an attitude toward those who stayed back.

In I Samuel 30:22 they said, “Because they did not go with us we will not give them any of the spoils that we have recovered.” David’s reply in I Samuel 30:24 was,” But as his part is that goeth down to the battle, so shall his part be that stays by the supplies: they shall share alike.Verse 25 says, “And it was so from that day forward, that he made it a statute and ordinance for Israel (God’s covenant people) unto this day.”

Partnership is a Biblical ordinance that began in the Old Testament and continued into the New Testament. In Matthew 10:41 Jesus said, “He that receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophets reward...” That means whether you are the one doing the work or the one supporting the work, you will receive the same reward.

Since we started this ministry in 1998, Laura and I have seen people get saved, healed, delivered, and set free. This has resulted through preaching in churches, street evangelism, audio tapes, video tapes, CD's, books, and the Internet. You may not be physically out there with us, but as you support us with prayer and finances, you receive the same reward.

All our partners receive the same reward that we do. The next time someone asks you, “How many people have been touched by your life?” You can tell them, “Too many people to count.”

Some of you have no idea how many lives get touched through your partnership with us and other ministries that we support. Voice to the Nations supports different churches and ministries throughout the United States and the world.

The organizations we support vary in size; however, they all have one thing in common. They all have a desire to harvest souls for God’s kingdom and you are a big part of that.

Every life that is touched through Voice to the Nations or the ministries we support, gets accredited to your heavenly account. Just think about that... it is awesome! God designed partnership to bring multiplication. We can accomplish more together than we can alone.

The next time the devil tells you, “You’re not making a difference.” You just tell him,” Oh, yes I am! My life is making a difference. I am reaching people all over the world. I am a Voice To The Nations!”
