He Is Risen

He Is Risen
By Wayne McDonald

John 20:1 Now on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been removed from (lifted out of the groove across the entrance of) the tomb. Right after this Mary went and told the disciples what she saw, the disciples came running back and looked into the empty tomb.

The disciples then went back to their homes but Mary stayed behind. John 20:11-14 But Mary remained standing outside the tomb sobbing. As she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb.
And she saw two angels in white sitting there, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body was laid. And they said to her, woman why are you sobbing? She told them, because they have taken away my Lord, and I don’t know where they have laid him.

On saying this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not know or recognize that it was Jesus. The same thing takes place today Jesus does what He promised he would do and it is so evident that it is him that is doing it but we don’t always recognize Him.

Mary was so upset that she did not recognize Jesus. Are you so upset today by what someone has said to you or because of some trial that you are going through that you don’t recognize Jesus is right there with you.

He will never leave you nor forsake you. He knows your pain He can be touched with the feelings of your infirmities. The good news is, He is risen and because He lives you and I can live.

Today chose to trust Him in spite of the way it might feel or look, Just as he came out of the tomb He is going to bring you out of your tomb situation and raise you up with resurrection life.

He Is Risen!!!
