Your Face I will seek

Your Face I WIll Seek
Psalm 27:8
By Laura McDonald

Psalm 27:8, “When You said, “Seek my face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.”

I don’t know about you, but for me nothing can compare to fellowshipping with the Lord. He wants us to seek Him everyday and not because we have to but because we want to. He is calling out to us and saying, “Seek my face.” He is longing for us to reply. “Your face, Lord, I will seek.”

Notice this scripture mentions seeking the face of God. Many times we come to God and talk about our problems, pray for certain things, and so on. There is nothing wrong with that, but our time with the Lord should not end there. He wants us to seek His face. He wants us to come into His presence and look into His eyes. He wants us to sit and listen to what He has to say to us.

So many times we feel we can’t hear the Lord only to find that we are not seeking Him. If you want to hear from God today then you must seek Him. It may take sacrificing your time; however, it will be worth it.

Your face will I seek.
