The Sky is the Limit
The Sky is the Limit

By Wayne McDonald

Matthew, “19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With men this is impossible, but all things are possible with God.’” There are no boundaries to what you can achieve in Christ…the sky is the limit. With God on your side all things are possible. Unfortunately not too many Christians really believe that. I know this because they don’t talk or act like it.

Once in awhile I meet someone who is willing to take all the limits off of God and go for something big. I hear other people say they would like to be able to do that, but they don’t ever commit to it. One time I had a man tell me that since he was a child he had the desire to sing and play the piano. He is a grown man now and it has never happened. Why? Because there was not enough of a commitment.

Do you know what insanity is? It is doing the same thing and expecting different results. If you don’t have a goal and a plan to get there nothing will change. You will be in the same place next year at this same time. But it does not have to be that way. We serve a big God the sky is the limit. When you start something stay with it until it is completed. Don’t spread yourself too thin, instead complete one goal at a time.

As you do this you will have ,obstacles come your way but don’t let them stop you. Use your faith as you keep going in the direction that God is leading you. Keep feeding your goals with prayer and commitment. My wife Laura enjoys watching the food network. Sometimes they interview people who have started businesses. I amazed to see some of  these businesses started from practically nothing and now the  company has grown into a multimillion-dollar industry.

The people who accomplish big goals in life, business and relationships and so on… are people who have a goal and stayed committed to it until it comes to pass. You can read biographies of successful people and find that before the suceeded they failed many times, but they didn’t quit until they accomplished their dream. Today, I encourage you to take off all limitations. Bring all your goals and dreams before the Lord and let Him show you His perfect will. As you do this you will see that the “sky is the limit!”
