Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you [the priestly nation] have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you that you shall be no priest to me; seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children”. The best habit we can have in life is to read Gods word first thing in the morning.

It is more important than breakfast it is our daily bread. We are destroyed for lack of knowledge of his word. In Matthew 4 Jesus was being tempted by the devil. Jesus would answer those temptations with it is written. He would tell the enemy what the word said. If you don’t know what the word says you are carrying around an empty gun.

You can be sure the enemy is going to fire at you. Make sure your gun is loaded at all times. If you just read a few chapters a day you will go through the entire bible in one year. I always keep reading through the word because it gives me a birds eye view.

But I also like to study certain topics. When I am doing a study I will look up dozens of scriptures on that topic and read them over and over again until I receive revelation from them. I love when God reveals His word to me and it becomes revelation and I apply it to my life.

Make it your life style to keep putting Gods word first place in your life. It will keep you on the path to life and peace. If you are going through a hard time tell your situation what the word says about it.

If you are under attract in your health look up dozens of healing scriptures and speak them out of your mouth and get them in your heart. If it’s a financial storm your going through look up scriptures on prosperity until they get down on the inside of you. Put Gods word first!
