Feed Your Faith & Starve Your Doubts
Feed your Faith & Starve Your Doubts

Matthew 4:4 But He replied, it has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. A steady diet of God’s Word will keep you healthy spiritual and physically. When you read God’s Word the Bible it is referred to as the logos word.

When you spend time in God’s presence you will hear His voice and that is the reama word. We need booth however, there is nothing like when you hear from God directly. When you hear that still small voice on the inside of you it feeds your faith like nothing else.

When you read God’s Word it does not tell you who you are going to marry or where you are going to live. But the word that comes directly from the Lord does. God wants to give you specific details about your life. Take time in His presence to develop a relationship with Him and hear His voice.

When I hear from God it feeds my faith and helps me to see beyond my situation. When my Father speaks to me I see things through His eyes. Maybe you’re struggling with doubht in a specific area. Starve it! Don’t concentrate on the area that you are struggling with, the more you concentrate on it you give it power.

I read an article about a man that use to engage in dog fighting. He had a whit dog and a black dog. People would come and bet on what dog would win. One week the white dog would win and the next week the black dog would win.

Someone asked the man why is it that one week the black dog wins and the next the white dog. He said the one that wins is the one that gets fed the most.

Who are you feeding the black dog of doubt or the white dog of faith? Starve your doubts and feed your faith! Who ever you feed the most will win!
