Being a Leader
Being a Leader
By Wayne McDonald

Joshua 1:2 Moses my servant is dead. So now arise [take his place], go over this Jordan, you and this entire people, into the land I am giving them. Joshua was called by God to take the people of Israel into the promise land. He went through a long time of preparation before he stepped into that leadership position.

Preparation time is never lost time. God will release you into leadership when he knows your ready. If you feel like you’re on the sidelines and your wandering why doesn’t anyone recognize your gifts. It is probably because your due season has not come yet. When your time has come, no one can stop it.

As you stay faithful right where you are at God will see that you are promoted. For right now work on the following areas. Integrity, commitment, patience, boldness, and love. These are some of the qualities that a good leader must have. Joshua possessed these attributes.

He was a great leader he helped the people of Israel possess what God Promised them. A good leader will get the job done at all coasts. I have watched my pastor for years he is a great Godly leader. God put in his heart several years ago to build a large building on our church property debt free.

Well we have had all kinds of obstacles try to stop us. I have heard so many people say I don’t understand why pastor does not just borrow the money to finish the building. That’s why they are not the pastor.

God put in his heart to do it debt free and he has stuck to it. Well the building is almost complete and it is worth millions of dollars and we did it without borrowing to get it. Be integral and committed in what you do that is being a leader.
