Enjoy the Journey
Enjoy the Journey
By Wayne McDonald

Luke 10:40-41 "But Martha [overly occupied and to busy] was distracted with much serving; and she came to Him and said, Lord, is it nothing to you that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me [to lend a hand and do her part along with me]!

But the Lord replied to her by saying, Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things". Have you ever been talking with some one and they are there physically but mentally they are some other place?

That person is overly occupied and to busy.  God’s best is for us to be fully present and enjoy everyday to it’s fullest. Enjoy the journey! We can become so busy that our lives can feel out of control. Have you ever been there? Are you there right now? When I minister in churches as Laura and I travel I see that some people are overly occupied.

They are in the room listening to the message but they are some other place in their mind. To day don’t get caught in the trap of becoming so busy that you miss the joy of the day. I am all for serving the Lord and serving in a local church where the Lord has planted me.

However if you are in every service and your family is neglected you are to busy. There is always more to do then it seems that we have time to carry it all out. No matter how good we manage our time.  So don’t be anxious and preoccupied enjoy the journey.
