Forget the Former Things
Forget the Former Things
By Wayne McDonald

Isaiah 43:18-19 Do not [earnestly] remember the former things: neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive it and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

I have good news for you today; you can start all over again. Today is a new day! I have always loved to rise early in the morning and watch the sun come up. It represents new opportunitys and a fresh start. God’s mercies are new every morning.

Just take a moment and think about the endless opportunities that are available to you today. Chose to do things God’s way. Take the high road. Walk the strait and narrow live the life God intended you to live. God told us to forget the former things so that we would not get stuck in our past.

I want to challenge you to forget not just the bad things but also the good. Because the good things of yesterday fail in comparison to the awlsome things God endeavors to do with your present and future. His plans for your life are so big that if He showed you all the detail you would be overwhelmed.

So He shows you a little at a time. He will give you a snap shot of the great future that He has for you. Begin to see yourself living the life God intended you to live the life of victory. Forget the former things.
