Ask For Wisdom
Ask For Wisdom
By Wayne McDonald

James 1:5 If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, with out reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him.

In life there are hard decision that all of us must make at times. Do I take the new job offer or do I wait for a better one? Is this the person that I am going to marry? Have you ever tossed and turned in bed all night trying to figure out a solution to the problem?

Try asking your Father before you start burning brain wood all night. We are told if we lack wisdom, just ask and He will freely give. When I am under pressure to make disisions I ask my Father for help. Then I stop and listen to what I hear in my spirit.

God knows what’s best for us. He wants us to succeed and make the right decisions. If you are faced with some hard decisions stop and take some time to sit in Gods presence and ask Him for wisdom.

Move slowly where major decisions are concerned. If some one is pressuring you that they need an answer right now then back off. Some times when I ask the Lord for wisdom I don’t always hear right away what to do.

So I just wait and then His wisdom comes. Over the years I look back and I can see the hand of God on my life and ministry.  I have made it a habit to ask Him for wisdom. So before you make the next major decision take some time and just ask for wisdom.
