Facing Goliath part three
Facing Goliath part three Monday April 27, 2009 By Laura McDonald What Goliath said is what our enemy says to us. Why have you come out to battle? Why are you here? Who do you think you are? Our enemy says that to us, why are you here? You are not qualified. Am I not a Philistine and you the servants of Saul? Goliath looked at the children of Israel in the natural. The devil will try to get us to see ourselves in the natural so that we will focus in on where we are weak. Choose a man for yourselves and let him come down to me. React to the situation. The enemy will always try to get us to react to the situation but instead we are to respond with the word of God. If he is able to fight with me and kill me, then we will be your servants. But if I prevail against him and kill him, then you shall be our servants and serve us. Goliath did not think the children of Israel had a chance at beating him but he wanted to fight them so he tried to get them to think they were on an equal plain it would be a 50/ 50 chance that they would win. The devil wants us to think we are on an equal plain with him he wants us to think we have a 50/ 50 shot of winning. But that is false. We are not on an equal plain. For greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. 1John 4:4.
