Naked and Not Ashamed
Naked and Not Ashamed
By Wayne McDonald

"And the man and his wife were both naked and were not embarrassed or ashamed in each other’s presence," (Genesis 2:25 AMP). Adam and Eve were the crowning of God’s creation. They were made in His image and likeness. God gave them total dominion over the earth.

Adam and Eve were both "naked and not ashamed." Guilt was foreign to them. They were completely open with one another and the Lord. They had close fellowship with God and they walked together as one. God never intended us to be just a replica of Himself, but rather bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh and spirit of His Spirit.

Jesus' whole purpose in coming to the earth was not just to die on a cross and rise from the dead. But rather, to redeem a race of people who would believe in Him and have their dominion restored and their shame taken away. So get naked before the Lord today!

Anything that you are hiding He knows about anyhow. Therefore their is no sense in playing games. He wants all of you! He wants to bless you beyond what you could ever ask or think. Don’t live in condemnation and guilt because of the mistakes of your past, but live free. If there is any sin in your life turn your back on it, confess it to the Lord, and get rid of it.

"If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action," (I John 1:9 AMP). You can now live naked and not ashamed.
