Everlasting Weight of Glory part three

2Corinthians 4:17 For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!].

I want to make something very clear, God is not the author of your trial. He gets blamed for everything bad that happens. We live in a fallen world where accidents happen and there is a devil lose. When you are going through some type of a test don’t think that this is God’s way of trying to get your attention. God is a Spirit when He wants to get your attention He will speak to your spirit.

When He deals with you to not do something that is harmful to you He will bring conviction to your spirit. He will not make you sick or put some type of disease on you to try to teach you a lesson to perfect you. There is a teacher in the Church and His name is the Holy Spirit. God’s spirit and His word are what perfect us.

However when you are going through a conflict use it as a gage to see how much you have grown spiritually. In Luke 4 Jesus went out into the wilderness to fast and the devil showed up and began to test Him. When you set time aside to seek the Lord and go higher know that the enemy will fight you.

Vs 14 Then Jesus went back full of and under the power of the [Holy] Spirit into Galilee and the fame of Him spread through out the whole region round about. When you pass the test that you are going through it is going to result in more power. You will have more determination to fulfill God’s purpose for your life. It becomes your everlasting weight of glory.
